Maintain, troubleshoot and repair the ground power equipment as required and assist the Vice President of Maintenance in other projects as assigned. This includes but is not limited to:
1. Keep track of and perform preventative maintenance of ground power equipment.
2. Trouble shoot and repair broken ground power equipment.
3. Maintain ground power equipment area.
Must be able to multi-task, respect / maintain confidentiality, be service oriented, be trustworthy / ethical, and sensitive/respectful of diverse populations/cultures. Must have excellent attendance and great work ethic. Must work at a fast pace and handle stress and problematic issues well while maintaining a positive attitude
A High School Diploma or GED. Michigan Certified Auto Mechanic, with one year of vehicle maintenance experience required. Two years of airport/aircraft ground power equipment maintenance experience is preferred. Must be available full-time and work overtime when required.
